Economic Justice Australia has made recommendations to Treasury for the 2021-22 Federal Budget, calling for a number of reforms including: permanent increase to income support payments, removal of the newly arrived residents waiting period, extended access to Special Benefit, cancelling compulsory income management, and additional funding to community legal centres.
